Fire Compliance Orders
Has a fire inspector given you a written order saying something in your building is unsafe?
This could include:
-
Missing fire-rated walls, smoke alarms, or emergency lights.
-
Not enough exits or improper signage.
-
Inappropriate fire suppression.
-
Other Ontario Fire Code infrindgements.
How we can help.
We will go through the order to see what the inspector is asking for, the urgency, and what options you have. Then do a site inspection to see what is already in place and where the changes need to happen.
Next we'll complete a compliance plan addressing the Fire Code infractions and Building Code regulations, and prepare permit drawings for construction needed. Once approved a contractor can make the necessary changes for a final inspection.
